Welcome to Klaro. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- “Services” or “Klaro” means the Klaro iOS application and related backend services.
- “We,” “us,” or “Operator” means the developer and operator of Klaro.
- “You” or “User” means the individual who registers for and uses the Services.
- “Reports” means portfolio-related analysis content generated automatically from market data and AI technologies.
2. The Services
All content provided through Klaro is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You bear full responsibility for your investment decisions.
Core features include:
- Generating personalized portfolio analysis reports based on positions you enter and publicly available market data, using AI.
- Providing curated daily analysis reports for registered users to read.
- Sending you push notifications when Reports are ready (if you grant permission).
You understand and agree that:
- Investing involves risk; you make your own investment decisions and bear all consequences.
- AI-generated analysis may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or biased, and must not be your sole basis for decisions.
- Past analysis is not indicative of future results.
- We are not liable for investment losses arising from your use of or reliance on information provided through the Services.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
- You must register with a valid email address.
- An invite or referral code is optional. If you submit a valid code, referral benefits may apply as described in the app.
- Only one account may be registered per email address.
3.2 Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and must not transfer or lend your account.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us promptly.
3.3 Account deletion
- You may request account deletion from the in-app Settings screen.
- After deletion, your data (including positions, Reports, and push identifiers) will be permanently removed. This cannot be undone.
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel Apple App Store subscriptions. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings before deletion if needed.
4. Subscriptions and payments
4.1 Tiers
The Services include free and paid tiers:

4.2 Trial
- New users who add their first position may receive a 7-day trial with Pro-level analysis quality and up to 3 positions, as implemented in the app.
- No payment or payment method is required for the trial.
- When the trial ends, if you do not subscribe to a paid tier, your access reverts to the free tier.
4.3 Billing and renewal
- Paid subscriptions are completed through Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple’s standard subscription terms.
- Unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subscriptions renew within 24 hours prior to expiry.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- If you cancel, you retain access for the remainder of the paid period.
4.4 Refunds
Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies. To request a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to bulk-access or harvest the Services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services.
- Redistribute Reports commercially or in competition with Klaro.
- Misrepresent your identity when registering or using an account.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, without liability to you.
6. Intellectual property
- UI design, branding, presentation of Reports, and underlying technology are owned by the Operator.
- AI-generated Reports are for your personal reference. You may share your personalized Reports in a reasonable personal context, but not for systematic commercial distribution or resale.
- Curated daily reports may be shared personally on social platforms.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services without our prior written consent.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
- Investment risk: Content is not investment advice. You bear all losses from your investment decisions.
- Availability: We strive for reliability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for outages due to force majeure, third parties, networks, or maintenance.
- Data accuracy: Market and news data come from third-party sources. We do not warrant completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.
- AI limitations: Output may contain errors, omissions, or bias. Use multiple sources and your own judgment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the Services.
- Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
- We may revise these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version and changing the “Last updated” date.
- For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable (for example, in-app or by email).
- Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Services and delete your account.
11. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access for reasonable cause (including breach of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the Services), with notice where feasible.
- Sections on disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
13. General
- These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding the Services.
- If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
14. Third-party platforms (Apple)
If you access Klaro through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the Operator only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Services or their content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the Services. To the extent required by Apple’s App Store rules, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms solely for purposes of enforcing Apple’s rights.
